3 Year Old Program

Many different opportunities are introduced to the 3 year old child such as the use of finger paint, clay, paste and paper, chalk, soap suds, dough, easel paint, and vegetable and sponge painting. Special projects recognize the different seasons and holidays throughout the year. Puzzles, blocks and other manipulative materials improve small muscle coordination. Songs, finger plays and rhythm instruments foster and appreciation of music and participation. Language skills are encouraged through reading, listening, and the very popular "Show and Tell" time where children share with the class an object they have brought from home. All this is accomplished in a relaxed atmosphere with each child responding according to his own interests and needs.
