Enrichment
Children learn through carefully planned play experiences that include songs and music, dance, arts and crafts, language, phonemic awareness and literacy, science and exploration, computers, multicultural humanities, baking and cooking, and independence and social skills.
We have a music teacher, a dance teacher and a critter person providing specialized instruction to our students.
Field trips are taken to the nearby police and fire stations, the library and the Greenburgh Nature Center. Children experience science and nature daily through taking care of plants and classroom pets, and hatching butterflies and chicks every Spring.
